With great respect, I acknowledge the past, present and future Indigenous peoples as the original inhabitants and traditional guardians of this land that we call Canada. Tk'emlúps te Secwépemc within Secwepemcúl'ecw, the traditional and unceded territory of the Secwépemc People. Somatic healing modalities and dance have a rich history and borrow from many lineages and practices. I am committed to ongoing learning and repair around the colonization of these traditions.
